Product Update - 12th July 2022

Text controls in the menu bar, new shortcuts, and horizontal scroll fix.

Written by Matt Bolton

Our first July release introduces some UI changes that will save you time when you're trying to get your new design just right:

  • We've made experimenting with different fonts and font sizes a whole lot quicker, by adding the controls to the context menu that appears when you click in text.

  • When dragging in new images from the left panel, you can now suppress image replacement by holding down Ctrl+Alt/Opt. This shortcut allows you to drop new images on top of existing images instead of replacing the existing image.

Plus we've made some usability improvements requested by users:

  • Reduced the sensitivity when dragging the horizontal scrollbar

  • Fixed an issue with documents sometimes opening at the wrong zoom

Plus many other minor bug fixes and small improvements.
