It's been a busy month for the Xara Cloud team and we're happy to announce some great improvements to the new Document fom URL feature, the table tool and many other minor enhancements.
Document from URL
There's a significant update to the recently released Doc from URL feature (perfect for Real Estate agents that want to quickly and easily copy listing data from their websites into their marketing documents - see this article if you missed the original announcement).
We've introduced an interim step where you can select/deselect which images and listings from your website you want to auto-copy into the Xara template. Simply uncheck the ones you don't want to copy across:
Table Tool
o There is a new 'clear all borders' option in the Borders menu for tables, and the borders will be highlighted when selected:
o We've also enabled embedding of objects into table cells, either with drag & drop or by embedding at the text caret position.
Other Improvements
And as usual there is a host of other minor fixes and enhancements, including:
o Improvements to the login flow if you have chosen to sign up with Google or Microsoft credentials
o Some improvements to the UI when entering custom values in the the Resize feature
