Before being able to add text and hastags to your post images and publish them via the SocialBee plugin you first need to connect the social media profiles you want to post to.
If not already in there, click on the 'Connected profiles' tab in top navigation bar of the SocialBee plugin.
On the right side choose the social media platform you want to post to by clicking on the buttons next to it.
Another, smaller browser window opens and asks you to sign-in to your social media profile. Follow the instructions in there.
When successfully added, the social media profiles appear as connected on the left side of the 'Connected profiles' screen.
Note: Through services like SocialBee facebook allows posting to pages and groups only and Instagram allows publishing to business profiles only. For more information see also FAQ section below.
You also have the option to connect a SocialBee account if you have one. By connecting it you will have access to more functionality like post scheduling or a hashtag library via the SocialBee plugin in Xara Cloud.

I have issues connecting my Facebook and Instagram profile to SocialBee: what profiles can be connected?
Through services like SocialBee facebook allows posting to pages and groups only and Instagram allows publishing to business profiles only.
For Facebook this means you need to have connected either one or more Facebook pages or Facebook groups to your personal profile you sign-in to. This also means you can only post instantly to the pages' and groups' newsfeeds - not to your personal one.
A Business profile in the context of Instagram means you need to turn your personal Instagram account into a Business one. For this open your Instagram settings either via desktop or via the app.
Desktop: sign-in to your Instagram account in your browser, click on your profile icon in the top right corner, choose 'Settings' from the drop-down menu and click on 'Switch to professional account' in the bottom left corner.
Mobile app: open the mobile app, click on your profile icon, open the hamburger menu there, click on 'Settings' on the very bottom of the menu, choose 'Account' there, scroll down to bottom and click on 'Switch to professional account'.
I have a Facebook group connected to my Facebook profile but SocialBee does not detect it when signing-in to my profile.
To let your Facebook group be detected by SocialBee you need to install the SocialBee app to this Facebook group. For help follow the steps in this article.
I have an Instagram Business account: how can I connect it to SocialBee?
Besides having an Instagram Business account you also need to connect this account to a Facebook page you are an admin of to make it accessible via SocialBee. Find help in this video.
