One of the strengths of Xara is its support for import and export of data and documents in many formats, and we continue to build on that with the latest release.

Specifically this update includes a step forwards for our flexible new table tool. You can now paste tab separated data from the clipboard into your Xara table, making it easy to import data from external sources such as Excel directly into your Xara tables.

As with all releases there are also lots of useful minor updates and fixes including:

o When you open a document with an old table we'll now automatically convert it to the new format for you, so you can take advantage of the new table capabilities without lifting a finger

o The transparency control is now included in the context bar, for super easy access

o We've addressed a usability issue when trying to select an object with empty components such as text fields.
